are Lennart and Birgit
and we will present ourself on this page so that you will get some picture
of whom we are and also give you a way to contact us.Sweden, like the other Scandinavian countries, has a lot of Nature and Swedes makes the best of it. Sweden is not very densely populated, only some 8.5 million people on an area about twice the size of Great Britain. Most of the population lives in the southern part of the country.

Birgit loves the nature and likes to be in the forest every day, much like the BlueBird you see here to the left. Birgit is a nature loving person and likes all activities that has to do with Nature and the wild but she also likes to meet with people and to communicate with them. All in all she is a very sociable person. She is also very interested in linguistics and the history of languages.
Birgit also have an intense interest of Botanics and as we live out on the country side, all surrounded by Nature she have ample opportunities to indulge in this hobby of hers.
Another passion of hers is Knitting, so if you have any ideas or comments in this field she will be more that happy to share her opinions with you. Her e-mail address you could find further down.
Next in turn is Lennart
Now, Lennart is a passionate sailor as you might have guessed. At this time of the year most of his thoughts are a little ahead in time, somewhere around May or June when he can enjoy his addiction, the Yacht "MusicBee", a Comfortina 32 to it's full extent.
Lennart's second passion is music, to play the classical Masters like his favourite J S Bach and Handel. Lennart likes to play either the Piano or his Harpsichord or to play the two keyboards connected to an Akai S1000, a Proteus II and to his Turtle Beach Monterey PC board which he has in his Home Studio. Lennart is also very interested in making new sampled sounds on his PC.
Of course Lennart spend a lot of time on his PC (too much say Birgit) and that is also his profession. He works at Ericsson Microwave Systems AB in Gothenburg, Sweden as a Advisory Engineer in Data Processing and Communications and if you like to contact him at work you can e-mail him at Lennert.Bie@emw.ericsson.se

To conclude, we would like to encourage people with similar interest to contact us, may be you even like to come and visit us. Sweden has a lot to offer especially in the area of accessible Nature and the unique archipelago which, among other things, allows for good Sailing in protected waters and where mooring on pristine Islands in plenty is allowed to every Yachtsman almost without restrictions.
This unique feature of Sweden called the "Allemans-ratt" , which is a legal right of access to private land (open country) open to everyone, is something which you will find in Sweden only. Not even the neighbouring Scandinavian countries has such an extended right of access as a part of their fundamental constitution. Needless to say, this right of access must of course be exercised with care and must never be misused. The golden rule is: "Always leave the land you have visited in a state, at least as good as it where when you arrived".
