The yacht MusicBee.

Our yacht Comfortina 32, built 1987, is our second home during the summer time and also during spring and autum.

She hibernates safely on land during the winter, from November through March/April while the whether conditions aren't too favourable (we usually have snow Jan.-Feb. and sometimes i bit into March). This year she went into the fluid element the first of April. It was still a bit cold here at the west coast of Sweden at that time with many nights with frost. During the months of April and May the whether was not very pleasant, but we still where out spending the weekends onboard at least in May.

Then came June with somewhat harsh whether but from last week of June through the first week of August we where out sailing for 6 whole weeks without coming home ( except for 2 days). This Swedes can do in our very beautiful and protected archipelago with 1000 and 1000 of islands on most of which we can morn freely which makes this coast an eldorado for sailors from may nations around us. In fact at many a times there are fewer Swedish sailors than there are sailors from other nations which have discovered the astonishing beauty of this coast.

We where able to swim in the water almost all the time with a water temperature of around 23 degrees Centigrades (well into the 70’ies Fahrenheit). After I started working again, we could continue bathing in the see with the same type of water temperature during the whole month of August and this we certainly also did, spending all weekends onboard.

During the winter time we often think of her and we also makes plans on what enhancements we will do for the year. This season we decided on a good VHS station and a Depth meter.
