980829 - Okay. no recording yet. We can never get anything done. Hopefully it will happen soo though. We working hard. I say this with great sincerity (this being the time of sincerity as we approaches to the swedisch election). We had to cancel our show in Umea. Things suck hard most times.
980808 - I will be moving to Umeå and Dan and Järpen are off to STHLM so the band will not be as active (has it ever been?) for some time. We will however try to record that seven inch and we might be playing shows in between.
We would also like to set up a small tour sometime later this fall.
980729 - Being the only Ione who experienced Dee Snider, I now sit here and suffer from a sore throat and an accompanying disease. Despite this I receive doubt of my sickness from other Iones. Aarrgghh!!
So what has happened during summer? Good question. Me and Järpen fished out about 200 SKR
from the party people's pockets one Friday night. Linoleum was the hit. And then I mean hit.
What else? Ant got a whole lot better on skateboarding, Järpen went to almost every festival in Sweden,
Jonas worked his ass off at Wayne's, Dan went to Suomi with his mother Ilona and
I sat by my computer (yea rite...). Theioneband rehearsed today and it felt good they said. I AM sick.
We will record soon. In August. Definately. Hopefully the Vegan Cookbook will come around sometime soon.
980602 - Me and Järpen played an acoustic set at Pipeline together with Catharsis and Serene and Mukti.
We performed two of Järpen's own songs +  covers with The Weakerthan's (None Of The Above), Sonic Youth (Diamond Sea), Saidiwas (Pigs), Ulf Sturesson (Sommarbarn), Good Riddance (Waste) and a version of Born Against's Witness To A Crime. It was a lot of fun. Too bad the show was a $250 setback.
Anyway, we're probably gonna record the songs for that seven inch ourselves here in SVL. Check out the new pix from our first show in STHLM and the one at The Clubhouse in SVL last day of april!
980523 - Played at Kungen in Sandviken. Oh bu hu what a lousy show from our side.
980515 - Played at the 24 hour festival @ Pipeline. The sound was questionable but it was a great show!
980503 - Our new song Take This Punk & Shove It will be on The Great Vegan Musical Cookbook comp CD
which will be put out soon by E.B.A records. Bit Part In A Porn Movie will be on a comp CD on
Diving Records. Both records will be available from us.
980430 - Played at the clubhouse 'Kårhuset' in SVL. Loads of students.

980425 - Animal benefit-show in Stockholm. Last Match and Scum Brigade + some other really

980421 - It's a bit funny that I haven't announced  that we're gonna release a seven inch on
Suite 35 records. Check out their site! I don't know much but I know we're going
north to record it. Probably six songs. Some old, some new.

980411 - We were gonna play with Refused/Frodus but the plans failed.
980331 - I just happened to find my long-gone 40 dollar-earpluggs!!! Boy am I happy!?!?
980323 - We played a lousy show in SVL the 18th. We were all kinda in a bad mood.
Anyway... We're gonna start rehearsing as fuck #3 now. And just to comment someone's
entry in my guestbook; You do not have to sound like bloody Locust just cause you have
a keyboard. And by the way, Locust have a synth; and we can't afford one. HA!
980312  - We have a new member - Jonas!! He's gonna take care of the bassplaying.
Ante will play guitar. And we're gonna start using a keyboard to get some
groovy tunes into the mix. I cut my hair and bought an acoustic guitar for a lot of $$$.
Backyard Babies visited Pipeline. We didn't not go there, instead we held a vegan cooking class!
We have two new songs and a coolass cover with Pansy Division.
