Airwings Tristar-1 (serial no 1040) in Stockholm, september 1998. Airwings was a project to start an airline in Yerevan, unfortunately it failed before any flights were done. This aircraft is now with Orient Thai.

Air Atlanta´s TF-ABM (L-1011-50, serial no 1072), wetleased to Iberia, taxiing out for takeoff at Las Palmas in december 1997. This aircraft has flown for Air Ops as SE-DPP.


P4-JAA (L-1011-1, serial no 1013) from Aero Continente photographed in Lima, Peru. The aircraft has just been repainted from the colours of it´s previous operator, Air Ops, where it flew as SE-DSE. This aircraft is now in storage in Roswell, New Mexico.

9Y-TGJ (L-1011-500, serial no 1179) from BWIA photographed in Trinidad in february 1997.
BWIA´s Tristar -500´s differ from all other Tristar -500´s because they have a larger rudder. BWIA needed a lower Vmcg to be able to take off at high gross weights from short runways, but now BWIA do not operate from any short runways any more.
