In late 1994 Caribjet started operations with 2 Airbus 310-300 wetleased to Air India. In the end of 1995 the company expanded to also include 2 Tristar 500´s (ex TAP). The Tristars, painted in Air India colors like the 310`s, were used on longhaul flights between Europe and India. Destinations in India were Bombay (now Mumbai) and Delhi and in Europe Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam. Later on London was also included. In march 1996 a third Tristar 500 (also ex TAP) joined the fleet to operate scheduled flights for Air Mauritius. That contract ended up to be only 1 month long and that aircraft was then used for Royal Jordanian, Air India and Air Europe Italy flights. In september 1996 Air India cancelled the contract and Caribjet ceased operations. The aircrafts were registered in Antigua and the company (which still existed in 1999) is also an Antigua-registered company.

The company does not operate L-1011 any longer so there will probably not be any major updates.
