| The first
album...and what can I say...this was one of the records that made me listen to
deathmetal.
They are very young and satanic here...from the talent that they're showing you can tell
that there is more to come. The sound is very raw and evil...pure deathmetal. I believe
they had some troubles releasing it in the U.K. because of the extreme lyrics on
"Skin her Alive", if I'm not mistaken they even went into court...
Lately they released it as a digipack containing the two extra bonus songs "Torn
Apart" and "Justifiable Homicide", the later one can also be found on the
Casket Garden single.
This is a true deathmetal classic.
This mini
CD is even more brutal and fast than their first album. Extremely raw sound.
The songs are leftovers and demos I guess.
This was
my first Dismember album. The reason I bought it was that I saw the "Dreaming in
Red" video which is a very strange video...one of the best I've ever seen. It
actually feels like your watching a dream.
Well, the music is pretty heavy here, it's not as raw as the earlier releases....the sound
is more clean.
Great riffs are mixed with fast uncontrolled drums. Pretty brutal lyrics about
dismembering people.

A small
taster of what was yet to come. Both "Casket Garden" and "Wardead"
could be found on the next release. They both have a new fresh and hard sound.
"Justifiable Homicide" was until now unreleased.
An
amazing production. One of the best deathmetal albums made. Great hard guitar sound not
like the regular deathmetal sound...still very brutal.
Lots of hard work seems to be put on this album..all the songs are great. The lyrics are
about war and devastation which gives a very moody feeling together with the music. It
would probably fit as a soundtrack to a war movie. The two last songs are a bit slower and
sound somewhat melancholic which makes this an album with great variety.
A fucking killer album!
This one
was a bit of surprise...a back to the roots mini CD. At first I didn't like the
sound....but after a while I discovered some great songs there. They play a bit faster
now....somehow they seem angry as hell.
Kick Ass!
The guys
are back...and they're more pissed off than ever!
Yet another killer album which includes great speed, lots of energy and is heavier than
hell.
They are proving that deathmetal isn't dying without giving in to any trends....the sound
is just like with "Misanthropic" taking me back to the "Like and ever
Flowing Stream" days but it's heavier and less raw.
The songs are about war, rage, death and pain...just like it should be.
