Hi, you are my visitor no: 6839

International Airforces Museum (IAM) is a project available to you (so far) only on the web. As of today most aircraft museums concentrate only on their own domestic aviation history - and do so very well. The fundamental idea with IAM is however to show the history and development of as many countries airforces as possible. This decision was taken considering two main aspects : A very wide interest in most aircraft types, preferably from small and lesser known airforces - and by covering each airforcesī history as accurate as possible I hope to broaden the knowledge and create an interest for other countries/airforces and their culture. This will maybe make us better understand why there are so many tragic conflicts in our world.
The main exhibition (except for the one mentioned above) will display models of the aircraft that crashed or landed in, or outside with the crew ending up in, Sweden during World War II. This will be done together with each aircraft/crew history and whatever artifacts possible relating to these aircraft and crewmembers.
Nations that "invaded" Sweden during World War II
