There are a couple of programs for buzz that will help you do things buzz cannot do, some examples of this is m2buzz and groove calculator. There are also other files such as the index.txt file which has a list of all machines in it, that quickly gets outdated and needs to be changed.
M2buzz 3.61 This program is run outside of buzz and lets you convert mod formats to buzz format, or melt two buzz songs together into one. There might be some errors when you convert an old mod format file to buzz format, this is because m2buzz uses only the jeskola tracker machine to play the patterns in and the jeskola tracker is lacking some features that the old trackers have. Buzzplug 2 beta This is used to monitor the parameter slider changes. Buzz tools* - James Holden This is a bunch a programs in one: groove calculator - lets you add a natural swing to a track x-fade looper - lets you make smooth, seamless loops from samples bpm counter - tells you the bpm of any tune The author calls it sampleware, if you want to use his program you mail him a sample - 16bit wave files. Buzzcol* - Z.war In the newest version of buzz you are able to make themes, or rather change the colours. This little application helps you on your way to getting your very own theme. Buzz indexer - Some-E This program is used to clean up the index file. Just edit the buzzpath.txt that comes with the program and write the location of the buzz.exe file instead of the line that's there. It will then let you drag and drop the machines into the various sub-divisions you choose to have, this let's you arrange the machines in a way that will speed up the music making process. Psidrum manager - Illuminator This is the new psidrum 2 application for managing the drumkits. Sadly i have not been able to start this program myself but do give it a try. * - requires visual basic files, get them from the file section below
Index.txt This is the file that contains the machine setup up with machines divided into different categories. You'll soon notice that updating this by yourself actually is pretty tiresome work, to avoid this just go on over to DJLaser's page. He's spend som time writing a nice and clean index file for buzz users to download, note that it is also constantly updtated. If you still want to do it by yourself, go for the buzz indexer by Some-E. Visual basic files comctl32.ocx , comdlg32.ocx , msvbvm50.dll , msvbvm60.dll All files above have been checked for viruses with a new version of avp toolkit pro, but none have been found, new viruses are always invented and spread, always check your downloads, i take no resposibility if the files are contaminated - http://www.avp.com - back to index - ©2000 - newt |
