Information About Rebels In The Alliance

Luke Skywalker Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill is the son of Anakin Skywalker, and twin brother of Princess Leia Organa. Obi-Wan Kenobi separated Luke and Leia on the day they were born: Leia was sent to Alderaan,where she was adopted by Bail Organa and hence, became Princess Leia Organa.Luke was sent to Tatooine where Owen Lars and Beru Lars, Obi-Wan's brother and sister-in-law had promised to raise him. Obi-Wan stayed in Tatooine to watch over Luke from afar as Owen had warned Luke never ever to go near that "crazy old hermit".Luke grew up as a farmboy on the Lars farm ,tending to moisture farms. However,Luke had a tremendous aptitute for flying repulsorlift vehicles such as skyhoppers and landspeeders. He became good friends with Biggs Darklighter and they both had planned to join the Imperial Space Academy together.However ,his uncle turned down Luke's request to join the academy, season after season.When Owen bought the two droids, C-3PO and R2-D2, from the Jawas. R2-D2 led Luke to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan knowed Lukes Father Anakin Skywalker and told Luke that Anakin Skywalker was murded by Lord Darth Vader. Later Luke will know that Lord Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker and that Obi-Wan lied about his death.

Princess Leia Organa

Princess Leia Organa, played by Carrie Fisher is the beautiful princess that is one of the leaders for the rebellion and a member of the imperial senate. Aside from Obi-Wan, no onw knows that she is Luke Skywalkers twin sister. Since the emperor knew Vader offspring would be a threat the young Jedi and his sister where hidden and seperated from their father. The princess was taken to Alderaan and was adopted by Bail Organa.

Captain Han Solo

Captain Han Solo, played by Harison Ford is a free lance smuggler and captain of the "Millennium Falcon" (the ship that made the kessel run in less than 12 parsects). He is originally from Corilia, but little is known about his past. Solo's best friend, Chewbacca, has a "life debt" with Han because Han rescued him from slavory. Hi is vowed to protect Han (and consequently his friends) untill he or they die. Solo is hired by Luke and Obi-Wan to deliver the droids R2D2, C-3PO and them selves to Alderaan. Han owes Jabba The Hutt a considerable amount of money due to a shipment he dropped bacause he was being boarded, so he takes the job. Since he is in it "for the money" he doesn't care about the rebeelions effort. After a small falling out wiht Luke. Han decides that he will help the rebellion. Altough he helps Luke in destroying the Death Star, he now has a price on his head from Jabba The Hutt so big every bounty hunter in the galaxy will be looking for him.
