The All vs everyone Tournament.

THE QUALIFYGAMES:

The next tournament may be a bit more intressting than the one we had earlier. We are
gona play qualifygames two weeks before the real tournament will begin. The players
with the best results after the qualifygames will be in one tournament and the other will
play their own tournament. This will make the tournament more fair and the beginners
has a chance to compete a bit.

The qualifygames will start on Friday 27 march and continue in two weeks.

How will the qualifygames work?
You will fight the other members and get 3 score if you win, 2 score if the battleresults
is a draw or 1 point if you loose the game. The games will be two 10 minutes games
(like usally) there each player host one game. You are allowed to play at any
weaponlevel (Nar Shaddaa loading terminal, Bespin mining station, Canyon Oasis or
Blades of death. You may select the forcerank too.. between forcerank 0 up to 8. If
you and the member you are suppose to fight can't agree which level or forcerank you
must play with the defaultstuff (Canyon Oasis and forcerank 8).

You are allowed to play against any member who want to play with you in the
tournamentqualify. But you are only allowed to play against each members once. You
MUST play against 9 qualifygames to be allowed to play in the tournament. Both
players must write an email to me after the battle there they tell me the exact
result/score of the battle and the winner.

The real tournament will start at April the 4th. Your qualifyendscore will be your
completequalifygamescore / numbers of battles. The council will deal with that stuff.

This rank will be used in the future tournaments too. The winner of the 'begginers
tournament' will get a place in the 'higher tournament' in next tournament and the player
in the 'highter tournament' with the most bad result will be placed in the beginners
tournament.

It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you understand that it is best for all if you
select a wide variety of opponents in the qualifygames, since we all will be better off if
you get into the right division in the first place. The division system gives the beginners a
break, since they will be pitted against players with skills around their own level in
tournaments, and they can also use the divisions as guidelines as to whom they will get
most enjoyment out of in a game.

If you deliberately select only weak opponents and stay away from the good players in
this tournament, you will end up in a division above your skill. This is very bad for you,
since you will be totally squashed by the others in that division in the tournaments. If
you seem to have ended in a division too low or too high for you, you will be moved. If
you feel you are in a wrong place, you can always try asking the Counsil to get moved.
Future tournaments will be organized

THE TOURNAMENTS:

Starting from March the 24th, there will be an 'TEJA happy hour' every day at
20.00-21.00. This hour is made for you who want to get out and IRC for chat and play
JK. The happy hour will also be used for tournament and leaguegames.

The tournament is not gona work like the other one. Everyone is facing everyone and
the players with best result will continue the tournament while the others will be 'out'.

Like this: Round 1.. everyone fight against everyone. In example: There are 8
competors. They will fight against eachothers and the 4 with the best results (the same
scoresystem than in the qualifygames) will continue and the 4 others will be out. The 4
players who continue will fight eachothers and the 2 with the best score will face
eachothers in the final.

We are gona be extremly hard with the disqualify in this tournament. The players will
get 7 days to play their games. They will be disqualified from the tournamentgame (not
the whole tournament) and will get one score.

All games in this tournament will as usally be one on one.

This tournamentinformation might be a lot confusing and hard to understand. You may
email me (AirHawke) at ante@mbox307.swipnet.se or ask anyone from the council at
IRC or ICQ if you want answers.
