A? is an clever, playful and colouful children book. Barbara Stupica and Marco Modic have created a series of facts that allows the child to ask questions about almost every image: "A tiger hasn´t got three tails..!..?" It promotes interaction and play. The whole series focus and ends in the child himself. The evidence his own hands. Its pedagogic value is direct and two folded. It not only presents the first ten numbers; it describes the animals in detail offering a chance through its difference to describe the real one. It is like a memory game where recognition is broken when the awareness of it strangeness is realized. Rhinocerous have not got six eyes..
The illustrations are gorgeous and playful, the words are direct.
I have scanned the pictures and text and arranged them in a form fitting to flicking a book using Macromedia`s Flash.
