"What's measured is done"
 
Sounds nice, doesn't? In many cases it's probably true, but we must not forget that there is essential parts in an operation that can/must not be measured! There is that talk about "managing the white space"! The glue that makes an organisation/operation work properly to give us the competitive edge! 
We can,t measure that!?
 
 
Today when down sizing and outsourcing is on the mode, we have to be especially careful, otherwise we risk to destroy the important unofficial network. But remember, if you try to measure you disturb or, even worse, destroy it!
