Similar to the partnership between AIs and Instructors, IDC Staff Instructors work with Course Directors as important team members in the instructor training process. As an IDC Staff Instructor, you may staff instructor development programs and instructor-level continuing education courses. You can also teach the PADI Assistant Instructor course - a responsibility only you and PADI Course Directors share.
This level distinguishes you as one of the dive community's most experienced instructors. PADI Master Instructors are professional dive educators who have embraced the complete PADI System of diver education.
PADI Course Directors are authorized to train other PADI Instructors - diving instruction's most serious and valued endeavor. This rating is the highest professional certification available from PADI and designates a Master Instructor who has received additional training to conduct instructor development programs. As dive education leaders, Course Directors work with PADI Dive Centers and Resorts to provide quality diver education programs at all certification levels, including instructor training.
