Regent Brwery-Trebon
Only a few brewerys in Central Europe can be said to have such a long tradition as the Trebon
brewery which was founded in 1379.In the course of the Middle Ages it’s reputation grew and
after 1698,the brewery,already owned by Duke Schwartzenberg,moved to the former Rosemberg
armoury.The De Maggi brothers (Italien master-builders),Martinelli from Vienna and Prauge
master-builder Bayer,all helped in its reconstruction.
The ”Bohemia Regent” trade-mark is internationally registered.In varius tastings in Czech
Republic ”and in Sweden” ,Trebon’s Bohemia Regent beer is regulary selected as one of the
best.In may 1993 it’s 4,8% beer won the Reoublic tasting against 35 other beers,which was held
by the Research Instetute for Brewing and Malting in Prauge.Trebon’s brewery brews.
33 000000 l of beer split between 3,5% 4,0% 4,5% 4,8% and3,5% 4,5% dark beer per annum.
The beer is packaged in 30 and50l kegs, in bottles 05l and cans033l.
