I live in in southern Sweden, not far from Skälderviken, which is a large bay opening into the Kattegat.
The nearest large town is Helsingborg, which in turn lies across the water from Helsingör (Elsinore) the setting of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

My immediate family consists of Nick, my husband,
Benjamin and Emma, who are twins,
our Burma cat Tocca (shown here as a kitten to the left of her mother) and a grey tabby called Ziggy.

Although we’ve lived in Sweden since 1986 my mother tongue is English and I have my own business Ask Me Översättning, translating Swedish to English. I also work as an adult education teacher at SV and hold spinning classes at the local gym
