Yet in 1758 romancatholic church community founded their hospital in Zemun.First written document about the presence of serbian or ortodox hospital was from 1769 but it had to existed earlier although exact datum of its establishing isn’t known today.City Magistrat
Had been helping financialy both hospitals from , for that purpose , found fund(Hospital fund 1784) but deficiency of money became continual so in 1784 was appeared idea about joining the hospitals into the one .That was finally done in 1795 although serbian hospital was closed 5 years.
New city hospital was moved in long ground-floor house in Bezanijska street number 47 which exist even nowdays. Building was fixed and expanded in 1805/1806.New age for the hospital started with coming of dr.Vojislav Subotic. He made it modern, doing the surgery himself, and five years later he moved in Belgrade and inducted it in Public state hospital. Today in Zemun’s KBC ,which is modern maternity hospital, work some 2000 doctors and 700 medical workers and it’s equiped with 839 bads which enable for some 26000 patients to have all help that’s necessary.
