In the manufacture of cement or other bulk materials, large volumes of material are handled using conveyor worms, conveyor belts, scoop lifters, vibration conveyors etc. When the conveyor stops e.g. due to a damaged bearing, much of the production process also grinds to a halt. Every minute production is at a standstill is very costly. It is therefore vital that damage to conveyor is repaired as quickly as possible, but the conveyor is filled with material that has to be removed before the damage can be repaired. Vacuum technology is superior to all other methods when it comes to handling large quantities of material in small and confined spaces. The handling is safe and efficient. The material is not contaminated during subsequent handling and can be returned to production.
